Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE AUGUST 19, 2026
Y·INSPIRE Magazine is a digital lifestyle publication. We collect as little information as possible, and we never sell it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
INFORMATION YOU GIVE US
We only receive personal information when you choose to share it — for example when you join the subscriber list, submit a story or feedback, or email us directly. That may include your name, email address, and anything you write in a submission.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
Our hosting and analytics infrastructure may record standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand which stories readers enjoy.
COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage for essential preferences only — your language selection, sound preference, and whether you have already seen the welcome acknowledgement. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
To deliver the issue and site features you request; to send issue announcements and sneak peeks if you joined the subscriber list; to review story submissions and reader feedback; to maintain security; and to improve editorial and design decisions.
SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site (hosting, email delivery, translation and text-to-speech processing), and only as needed to perform those services, or when required by law.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SPONSORS
The magazine links to sponsors, partners, nonprofit highlights, and contributor sites. Those pages are governed by their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or data handling.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
CHILDREN
Y·INSPIRE is intended for readers 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
RETENTION AND SECURITY
We keep subscriber and submission information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was given, and we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
CHANGES
We may update this policy as the publication grows. The effective date above will always reflect the current version.
